Make your own fully natural first aid kit

This is a very practical workshop where you will be:

making creams, capsules, oils and ointments for your own kit and learning how to make them at home for yourself.
learning other simple but invaluable first aid ideas.
shown how to identify common ‘healing’ plants that grow in our streets and gardens

Cost includes all creams, oils, jars and other containers as well as a handy kit box for storage.

The kit is normally valued at over $70 and would make a thoughtful Christmas gift.

Pat Collins creates many of her own medicinal and cosmetic products from her own garden and surrounding bush. This is now becoming a rare art as many “home made” products are made from bought base creams, herbs and oils. Pat goes into the field and makes her own infused oils; pulls up the Paddy’s Lucerne plants and cuts them all by hand; extracts the gel from the aloe plant and dries the native nettles she collects on her property. She knows the best time to collect all the plants and the best processes to extract the active ingredients. So many of our products are now imported and certainly not freshly made. She is a herbalist who "walks her talk" and has an enormous practical knowledge of herbs and also loves to teach us how to use common weeds for healing purposes. Pat has also written many practical books some of which will be available to purchase at the workshop, created a video and a correspondence course.
