Maternity Reflexology with Lyndall Mollart

The Maternity Reflexology Course (Part 1) is designed to provide participants with a good understanding of women's fertility and pregnancy. This 2 day course enables participants to use the principles and practices of reflexology to support these processes. If there is further interest Part 2 will be held at a later date adn includes information about the development of the incoming soul with its manifestation on the mother's feet and reflexology care for the newborn baby. Once the full course (Part 1 & 2) is completed a Certificate in Competency in Maternity Reflexology will be issued. Please inquire with the school if you are interested in studying for this Certificate.
Lyndall Mollart, who is a qualified nurse and midwife, completed her Certificate of Reflexology for Midwives in 1999 and Diploma of Reflexology in 2000 with Susanne Enzer, author of "Maternity Reflexology" and "Reflexology: a tool for Midwives". Lyndll has utilised her reflexology skills with pregnant women to ease the discomforts of pregnancy, during labour and with new mothers recovering from the birth experience. She was instrumental in introducing a reflexology policy in the local maternity unit with approval from the hospital's ethics committee. Lyndall has been the chief investigater for three studies (so far). Lyndall and her midwifery/reflexolgist colleagues conducted a two year single blind randomised controlled trial in the use of reflexology for foot and ankle Oedema in late pregnancy.
