Jin Shin Jyutsu with Christine Anne Ritchie
2009 course dates TBA
Killara, Sydney
Translated from Japanese, Jin Shin Jyutsu means 'The Creator's Art through Compassionate Man'. It is an
ancient art of harmonizing the life energy of the body. Born of innate wisdom and passed down from generation
to generation by word of mouth, this art had fallen into relative obscurity until it was revived in the early
1900s by Master Jiro Murai in Japan.
According to ancient written records, which remain in the archives of the Imperial Palace, Jin Shin Jyutsu was widely known before the birth of Buddha.
Jin Shin Jyutsu is a healing art that can be applied to ourselves and others. By using our hands as 'jumper cables' and placing them on specific areas of the body, we reawaken our innate state of balance and harmony.
Jin Shin Jyutsu employs 26 'safety energy locks' along energy pathways to release blocks and stagnation.
This simple art is a valuable complement to any other form of therapy or can be used on its own. It can be taught to clients and can be used for self-help or as 'homework' between sessions.
'In time you will know the non-secret of the power that is the awareness and understanding of the fingers and thumbs. All disharmonies can be harmonised through them.' Master Murai, Japan
