Diploma in Facial Reflexology
with Lone Sorensen Lopez

2009 course dates: Wed - Sun March 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8
Killara, Sydney

Facial reflexology is a therapeutic intervention in which stimulation of zones and points of the face are utilized to alleviate health conditions in other parts of the body. It is a new generation complementary therapy. The treatment is unique in its combination of ancient alternative therapies: Chinese energy meridians and acupuncture points, Vietnamese and Andean tribal body maps, with modern neuro-anatomy. The success and effectiveness of Face Reflexology lies in its ability to identify the root cause of health imbalances and its ability to stimulate a healing process within the individual using the balancing properties of the above three disciplines.

This unique treatment system has been devised by Lone Sorensen Lopez. A multi disciplinary therapist herself, she has worked to combine these therapies to heal the individual on all levels; physically and psychologically.

Part I:

  • Introduction to the Oriental, South American (Mapuche) healing traditions and neurological system, that underpin Facial Reflexology Sorensensistem TM
  • The seven fundamental procedures of every Facial Reflexology treatment
  • Methods of reflex assessment
  • Practical

Part II:

  • Meridianology – an introduction to meridians and the Five Element System and their role in our health and Facial Reflexology
  • Cranial points and zones – how to identify and use Practical

Part III:

  • 564 facial nerve points in combination with the 7 basic steps
  • How to use the nerve points for various health conditions
  • How to use the nerve points for self treatment
  • Practical and assessment

After Parts 1 & 2, Facial Reflexology can already be used successfully with your clients. However, the full Diploma course has been structured into three parts instead of four especially for Australian reflexologists. As Lone has a busy teaching schedule, we are very fortunate to be able to complete her program in one visit and not have to wait until she can come back to Australia again.

“It is a boost to therapist confidence to actually see results on all levels happen just that little bit quicker. The actual treatment just seems to bring a rapid response.” DT

“Facial Reflexology has offered another dimension to my practice, not only because it incorporates the meridian energy system, but also because it appeals to clients who prefer to receive the therapeutic benefits of reflexology through facial rather than foot treatments” ER
